Our agency had a community giveaway at our food pantry as part of the Juneteenth and Father’s Day celebrations on June 14th. Families were provided with various types foods and nutritious produce as they came out to the event. In addition to the food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank, we supplied the community with goods from our corporate donor Good360. During the community giveaway we were able to giveaway gift cards to those who entered and won our raffle prizes.
We are very thankful for our community resource partners who came out to engage with the community and to provide very valuable information to those in need! We would like to give a special thanks to Georgia Works!, Fulton County Board of Health, Georgia Harm Reduction Coalition, Gateway, Housing Plus Inc., and to the Department of Veteran Affairs for their participation.
