At Another Chance of Atlanta, Inc., we believe that homelessness is preventable when families and individuals receive timely, compassionate support. One of the most critical tools in prevention is rental assistance—helping people remain in their homes and avoid the trauma and instability of losing housing.
Rental Assistance: Keeping Families Housed
For years, our agency has provided rental assistance to households across metro Atlanta, including veterans, families, and individuals at risk of eviction. Over the past five years, we have been able to support more than 100 families, helping them stay in their homes, maintain stability, and prevent homelessness before it happens.
Our approach is simple yet impactful: when someone faces eviction due to sudden hardship—such as a job loss, illness, or unexpected expense—rental assistance bridges the gap, keeping them in place while they regain stability.
When Assistance Is Available
We typically offer rental assistance during certain times of the year, depending on the availability of funding. Because our priority is to serve as many households as possible, funds are fully utilized until exhausted.
As soon as new funding is secured, we make services available again and update this page so that families and individuals know when and how to apply. This ensures we can provide fast, efficient, and transparent support to those who need it most.
