“Serving to Empower Our Commuities With Another Chance of Atlanta.” A Huge Thank You to the 384th Medical Logistics Company!
On June 11, 2025, we had the incredible honor of hosting 50 soldiers from the 384th Medical Logistics Company stationed at Ft. Gillem—and what an unforgettable day it was!
These dedicated service members gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support our mission and give back to the community in a big way. Their determination and motivation were truly inspiring!
During their visit, the soldiers:
- Assisted at our food pantry, helping patrons carry groceries to their vehicles
- Distributed flyers throughout the community to spread awareness about our programs and services
- Took part in painting and restoration work at the housing units in our transitional housing program
They did a tremendous job painting the units, and we were able to capture just how great the finished work looked. The clients in our housing program were truly appreciative of the fresh, revitalized living spaces—thanks to the hard work and care of these incredible volunteers.
We are incredibly grateful for the partnership and support of this amazing U.S. Army Reserve group. Their service goes far beyond the uniform, and we had a wonderful time working alongside them.
